How do you turn on safe search filter?

How do you turn off search filter in Windows 7? NOT the internet one?

  • I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT INTERNET SEARCH. I AM TALKING ABOUT SEARCHING THE COMPUTER FOR A FILE. I've spent the last half hour trying to figure out how to locate a certain file on my computer called "The End". When I type it into the search box, it changes the word "end" into some kind of date filter, and searches for all files with "the" in them. It's a text file, and I remember some of the content, but I can only find ways to search for part of the NAME of the file. Is there a way to either turn off the automatic search filter or search for text in the file instead of the name?

  • Answer:

Go to start button option, click on search option, click on files and folders then enter file name with extension xyz.txt and search it. Please check the below link for more detial if any.
