If my computer has a virus can my iPhone have one?

Computer virus not letting me on facebook and other websites?

  • Recently my mac computer "can't find the server" to websites such as Facebook, Netflix, Urban Dictionary, and Weather.com. My computer works fine with almost all other websites besides the ones listed above; every once in a while the server won't be found to a more low key website. Is this a virus? Any help would be appreciated... This has been going on for a few days and I don't think I can stand one more day without checking Facebook. Oh, and, these websites won't work from any other computers in my house or on my iPhone/iPad. My family all uses the same network so is it something wrong with that? Sorry this is so long. Many thanks!

The fact that this is affecting all your devices, including the iPhone and iPad, means it can't be a virus. I would suggest unplugging both your modem and wireless router and waiting a couple minutes before plugging them back in. Doing this can often resolve these sorts of issues. If that doesn't work then you should call your ISP, as the problem may be on their end.
