How to record from Youtube from my Acer computer's webcam?

I have a webcam (Built in at the top of my laptop) and when I try to record myself from Youtube, it says, "No webcam detected." How do I set my webcam up so that it will let me record from Youtube?

Max i dont think you understand the problem. try control panel----) scanners and cameras. the webcam should be detected here and you could install it and then try it on youtube. this is for windows vista
