CentOS server setup question?
-
I just installed CentOS v6.0 . I wanted to set it up as a website server. I installed apache , php & MySQL. I was able to run php web pages on the local computer. How do i enable viewing the webserver from other computers to see webpages on it.

Answer:
It depends. Since Apache is running, you're good to go for local computers. Assuming you have another computer on the same network, fire up a web browser and put in the IP of the server and see what happens. It should connect and show the web site you created. If you want outside computers to see it, you'll need to talk to your ISP and get a DNS registration and a few other things.
