My volume gone on my computer?

  • i have just got a computer and im having trouble with the volume, ive clicked on the volume at bottom right hand of my screen and turned it up but still no volume? please help!!

    While in Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Advanced. Check that the speakers are set to Enabled! You should also be able to check from here that the driver is still installed. And you can try updating the driver when connected to the internet.

what are you using for speakers,built in or external or do you have any hooked up. sorry,but redo the question with better information so people can answer your question.

Try this: Go to Control Panel, click on Sounds and Audio Devices, click on Volume, click on Advanced. Check that the slider Volume Control [Speaker Volume] is up to Max and that it is not muted.

Sounds like a dumb question but just making sure, do you have speakers? Either that or double click on the volume and check it's not on mute.
