How can I access my Internet Explorer history?

My internet explorer won't open on my Toshiba laptop,why?

• My Windows internet explorer closes immediately, a Little box comes up and says check online for solution or close program. I did have an attempted attack on my computer last night from a website and I think that may have had a virus. My Norton updated this morning and since then my internet explorer won't open, it says the tab has been recovered then closes. How do I fix this so I can get back online, I can't even Access my tools or safety settings to delete browser history or change my internet settings please help. I have the most recent Norton and my Toshiba is only a year old and up to date.

  Well you can try logging in through safe mode and then try to run it.Or you can use somw other browsers.Mozilla firefox and google chrome are way better than the internet explorer.
