How to add subtitles to divx files?

Is there a way to add subtitles to avi or wmv files?

  • I have a japanese video on my computer w/ no subtitles so i don't know whats going on. is there a way you can get english subtitles on videos like these?

    hey hi, chek properties of those files. by right clicking on that file and click on properties. chk all tabs all text box. when u get any thing written in japanies. just copy it. paste in google search box with text translate. and paste translted words as subtitle in properties. hope i helped.
