How do you Record a Good Quality Song?

How can i record audio with really good quality?

  • i made a beat. now i just need to record it into a song. i have to do it with a mic because i cant export the beat because i only have the demo version . so i have to record it with a mic and when i do . the quality is bad. so i want to know is there free software that can record the sound in my computer with out having to use a mic?

that depends on ur soundcards capability. Basically u need to route ur OUTPUT back to ur INPUT, ideally, virtually. I've never tried running a cable from the output straight to the mic input but that MIGHT be possible. Then u could just play ur track and hit record on whatever audio recording program uve been using (one that will let u export). Virtually would be best though, internally within the computer. Ive got an EMU 1212M PCI soundcard and it lets me do all kinds of crazy routing/sends >:) Otherwise, check out those programs that let u record audio off of internet radio while its playing, that might work in ur situation, Good luck!
