Can you use an email address or a cell phone as an IRC client?
-
Every 1st monday of the month, me and the members of my favorite nonprofit organization meet on IRC and chat. However I am a busy person, often away with nothing but my cell phone. My cell phone has no flash, no java, and pretty much the only things it can do it call, text and email. What I'm wondering is if there is some sort of service that would allow me to use my cell phone or email as an IRC client, preferably one that would allow me to use the nickname of my choice. Like a way to receive an email or text, every time someone sends an irc message in the chat room, and I would send an email or text to reply. Also my phone can access yahoo chat, hotmail messenger and gmail chat.
