Can you get gift cards for mac app store?

I did a bit of research and found out some info that you might find helpful. First off, as far as I can tell, there is no such thing as a App Store gift card. BUT (as you probably already know) there is the iTunes gift card, which CAN be used in the Apple App Store. Here's Apple's own link on how to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4480 Note, though, at the top that is states that you can't use Apple Store gift cards in the App Store. So those Apple Store gift cards can only be used in an Apple Store or online at apple.com. Here's what Apple suggests Apple Store gift cards for: "Help someone on your gift list take a step closer to a new iPod or Mac, or let them choose the perfect software or accessory." ...notice:no iTunes or Apps...just hardware, software and accessories. So Lion on a USB Stick is doable...but no Angry Birds. So in a nutshell: 1. iTunes gift cards: fine for the iTunes Store and the App Store. 2. Apple Store gift cards: fine to use in any Apple Store or on-line at apple.com. Hope this helps.
