Which is better a DVD +RW or a DVD -RW?

Unable to open the DVD+RW to which I burnt video files just now.?

  • To me this problem looks strange. I burnt several video files to a DVD+RW (using Roxio DVD creator. I have an Optiarc DVD+-RW 7580S ATA Device). Immediately after the burn, I was able to open the video files on the DVD+RW. But the next day, when I try to open the same DVD in the same laptop on which I created that very DVD, I am unable to open the files. When I go to "My computer", click on the DVD drive to open the files, the computer does nothing!!! Usually, when a dvd is inserted, my comp asks me what I want to do - like open with VLC player, view files etc. This time, it did not ask me that. Why am I not able to open the DVD which I created just 1 day before (on the same computer)?

    What I am using is called Leawo Free DVD Creator.
