Is my internet connection or graphics card causing my videos to load very slowly?

• My videos load 3 seconds, stop for 6 seconds, load 3 more, and so on like that. Pages take a bit of time to load, but I know friends whose pages load even slower, but their videos load 10x as fast as mine. I have 1.37 gb of ram, that isn't the problem. I have highspeed DSL internet, that was once lightning fast but started to get slower over time until now where its the slowest its ever been. All video sites load videos slowly for me (not just youtube). Images load fairly slow too but not equivalent to how slow the videos load. I have defragged, cleared all temp files and such, emptied recycle bin, that isn't effecting it at all. Its not spyware. Is it my internet connection, graphics card, or something else making all this load slowly?

  Kind of hard o say. It's probably not your graphics card, as most cards are able to keep up with streaming video. But its strange the highspeed DSL would be going so slowly. Perhaps you have a bandwidth limit that you have exceeded, so they slowed you down temporarily. Another possibility is that you have a virus and it is using up your internet to attack websites. This would slow you down. I think it is probably your internet. Try finding out the exact speed, if it is anything less than 100kb/s, then its very likely your connection.
