Why does my computer keep freezing? Fixes to help please?

  • My computer freezes every single time I have it running. It'll just happen randomly. I would be on skype and my friend would keep repeating the same thing every few seconds because when it freezes it loops the audio. Are there any (simple) fixes to this? I've tried to clean out my registry and used a program called Smart RAM and it barely helped. While I was typing this question, my computer froze and I had to press the power button to turn off my computer. I am going to try to resume and finish this question without it freezing (no guarantees). I am running on safe mode now to see if it'll work better, but I don't want to keep using safe mode. I am almost certain I don't have a virus or spyware because I used many programs which look for that and fixed any problems. Anyone have any suggestions? I would hope you guys can give me a list of steps to do. I do use the computer a lot, so I know SOME stuff, but not enough to know what all these programs are. Can anyone help?

    There has to be two issues: a. Virus Infection (Use Avast free) b. Corrupt Registry/System errors ( Use Reginout ) I am sure it will fix for you..
