How do you uninstall a plugin?

Things that won't uninstall?

• I recently started to remove some programs from my computer, and there are so far three files i can't uninstall from "add and remove programs". these are: Quake Live Mozilla Plugin: on this file, it starts to uninstall and then a message box with a yellow triangle with a black triangle inside it (sorry for the details), and it says: The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2738." After that, the green line goes away and that's it. I'm preety sure this is not a virus because i downloaded it on the official site. Personalization Panel DWM Controller: This is the same as above, but the message box says this: "Error 1001. Install Util Lib .dll: Unknown error". I suspected this might have been a virus, but a scan didn't show anything. GTA 2 This is diffrent from the two above, because it's a lot larger, and it's a game. As soon is i hit uninstall, a message box with a white X inside a red circle appears, and this is what it says: >SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (439) pAPP:GTA2 PVENDOR:Rockstar Games PGUID:2987EE84-C4EE-4FF5-8160-32DE00D6… $7.1.100.1248 @ Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 55748.18 After i click OK on that, this appeares: Setup has experienced an error: Please do the following: - Close any running programs - Empty your temporary folder - Check your internet connection (internet-based Setups) Then try to run the setup again. ______________________________________… Error code: -5001 OK I would just like to know how to get rid of these files, and i'm running windows 7 starter. That, and, would a system wipe get rid of these automaticly?

  Get a free program called Unlocker, go into the Program Files, open the offending program, right click on any of it, Unlock, will get rid of it.
