How do I get into the Administrators Account?

Get files from one account on your computer to another?

  • the administrators account on my laptop is corrupted so i need to create another. how do i get all of my files, favorites, bookmarks, ect. on the new account from the old one? windows 7 operating system.

  • Answer:

    If the account you create is also an administrators acct you should be able to access the folders. Open Computer-C drive(if that's where the Users folders are)/ Users/ open the user where the files are located and go to the folder. Copy the contents and paste them into the other users folder that you need them in. Edit-if you have a flash drive or cd you can just back those folders up to it or copy them and then download them to the other acct.
