How do you unzip a compressed file?

Computer Wont Recognize Music as A Zip File?

  • i down music mixtapes. it clearly shows when dowloading that its a zip file but when it uploads on my computer the file picture isnt the compressed foloder or the folder with the zip on it. i icon shows (itunes or Media player) but when i click on it those programs wont recognize it because its zipped. when i right click these zip files, it doesn't say wither or not i want to unzip it. I really need help im using windows vista

    You must unzip the .zip - do this by: Right-click .zip > Extract files... > [follow instructions] > INSIDE the folder, you can now play the music files

lol, zip folders are not music files. They're probably trojan viruses that you downloaded from Limewire or Frostwire.

Open up winzip and find your music zip file. Now unzip it.
