What are some common computer programs?

What is wrong with my computer? Certain internet tech programs wont start?

• All of the sudden, out of the blue, some programs wont start. My Chrome and my IE8 will start... but my preferred browser Firefox wont. Skype runs, but my FTP client wont. My Apache and FTP servers will start as background operations only, but the XAMPP control panel wont start at all. This happened this morning. For no apparent reason. I havent done any weird tweaks. I havent downloaded or installed any programs. My computer is set up exactly the same way it was a week ago, and contains no more software than it had three days ago... all of which is routinely virus checked. I reset my computer this morning because it was running a bit slow and because folders wouldnt even open... I left my computer running for a day or two. I accidentally left my mp3 player plugged in and the computer froze during bootup because it couldnt make heads or tails of the device. I unplugged it and reset again... then my web programs wouldnt start up anymore.

  you are in a leap year glitch(which mean does not happen to much) u have to reformat again or reinstall the apps that don't work. (BY LEAP YEAR GLITCH i mean it does not happen OFTEN to people.)
