Reset/change/crack admin password?

I am running windows vista premium edition, it's a computer i resived as collateral but now it is mine, the computer has 4 accounts, one of which is an administrator, a guest account and two other accounts with limited rights. The person did not want to give me the admin password, i have tried to do everything to reset the password but no luck, i have tried like 5 different type of boot cd's but when your doing it it asks for you to go back to their site and purchase a license, even though it says free trial. i even tried doing the way i do it with xp but the installation process is different and doesnt work. Is there anyone who might know what to do to reset or change the password of admin without having admin rights on a different account, besides boot cd?remember its windows vista

Have you tried the Ophcrack (Password Recovery Software) program? It is a freeware program and has worked very well for me. You will need to download the ISO and burner it to a CD. Then you use it in the "problem" system to recover the system's password(s).

hmm cant you somehow make a new admin account or maybe replace your memory card with a new 1

Reinstall Vista.

Open the computer case Find the jumpers for the password Remove the jumpers and restart your pc Turn your pc off and replace the jumpers The password is gone!
