Can I e-mail with windows outlook?

I exported in outlook 2007 on XP, then imported in 2007 in windows 7, but now can’t receive new email?

  • Thatas just it. I planned an upgrade from XP to 7, so I exported to a .pst file in outlook 2007 in XP, installed windows 7, then imported that .pst in outlook 2007 on 7. all my emails were there, but I'm not receiving new ones.

  • Answer:

    You will need to set up your email account again. Exporting only saved your emails in a file. Importing only added the emails to your Outlook. Neither one will set up your email account.
