How to play mobile java games on PC?

How do I get started making PC games?

• I'm 13, in 8th grade, and really in to pc gaming. I'm a big fan of indie games and a few mainstream games. I've been gaming for a few years now, and the more indie games I play (Minecraft, Super MeatBoy, Binding Of Issac ect.) the more I wish that I could be in their position, programming, doing the art, writing the story. I really want to get into this. So I set of learning Java because I heard that that was the best way to start, I'm watching these older tutorials on YouTube from a guy Thenewboston, but I'm having trouble following. I really want to get into the game making business, but I'm not sure if I'm going in the right direction. I would take a class but my family lives in a small town with barely a groceries store. Please tell me if I'm going in the right direction, or what is the best way to get into this sort of thing, thanks so much!

  Well other types of software like 3DS MAX is used for making games and such, except it's not beginner friendly. Adobe Flash is easy-ish but is pretty much limited to 2d games. Java is good for what you are doing and there are plentiful of other Java tutorials on the internet.
