"Repair Your Computer" option not working?

• My Dell Inspiron (windows 7) computer is having some problems opening files and working correctly so i decided to restore it back to the factory image but once I press on repair your computer, it says loading files and just sits there with no progress for hours. Could it be that a file is damaged or missing? If so could someone please tell me how to fix the problem?? Thanks

  Seems like your problem that you are having need to use an actual windows discs. If you were able to burn the recovery discs then I will try to format the whole hard drive and then use the recovery discs to restore it that might solve the issue. If you did not have any recovery discs or if the computer does not let you burn them because the recovery partitio is damage then you need to buy the windows dics, or take it to a repair shop.
