Can please someone tell me how can I repair my computer?

IM ABOUT TO GO CRAZY !!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!?

  • My laptop hasnt been working. When i turn it on, it only gets to the black screen with the cursor in the middle of it and it doesnt go anywhere. I have called technical support but they are very dumb people because they keep saying that one thing is wrong with it and then another thing is wrong with it! They dont freaking know whats wrong with it ! Yes I've tried shutting it down. Yes I've tried restarting it COUNTLESS times. Yes I've tried safe mode with and without networking. I've tried start up repair. I've tried recovery. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING! My mom is taking so freaking long to get it fixed and thr stupid F*cking tech support people keep saying that I have to pay about over 100$ for them to fix it for me. I dont have that kind of money right now and its killing me cause i havent been on my computer in weeks. Weeks i tell you. Someone, Anyone ! PLEASE HELP ME.!! I really miss using my computer :(

    I answered your question fully but it turned out to be 100 lines long (and that was the short version) The crux of it was: 1) backup your data to external hard-drive while in Safe Mode 2) Make a backup of your Software Serial numbers with any of the following: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/productkeysactivation/tp/topkeyfinder.htm My favourite is: http://www.klinzmann.name/licensecrawler.htm Then after you have your Data (Most important Part of any computer) and Serial numbers of Windows and your Software (2nd most importart piece) 3) Insert your System Restore CD which comes with most PC's or under the Boot options boot to system restore partition... and restore your computer to the state the day that you bought it. Trust me, it will be a nice clean start. (I use to re-install my Windows PC every 3 months before I upgraded to only using Mac's in 2006) Advice for when you're computer is up and running again after the restore: 1) Do all Windows updates (might take a whole day) 2) DON'T install ANY software you didn't purchase... 90% of virusses comes from pirated software. 3) install Dropbox -> http://db.tt/jPpxnWq This will allow you to Sync your Data on the computer into the CLOUD... meaning next time your computer dies... (It's a flawed operating system so expect it...) you know everyhting in the DROPBOX folder is already saved onto the internet. I could provide you with 3 years of training and you'll probably still only know 10% of the knowledge the "stupid F*cking tech support people " have so please realise they can't solve your problem unless you just simply pay them :-) Best of luck Grasshopper

well do you have a recovery disc or a disc for your operating system? put the CD in and enter recovery mode and that will repair any and all errors that might be wrong with your computer if it's windows that is or you can do a complete reformat.

for one thing, you sound utterly pathetic moaning like that, unless they can actually see the laptop it is VERY hard to work out what is wrong in a scenario such as yours, the likelihood is the hard drive may be damaged, or you may have a particularly nasty virus that's corrupted the OS, in which case the only way you can fix it is to pay the damn fee to get it fixed.
