My computer's Screen will not come up, why?

Are there any good computers for outdoor use in the sun?

  • hi i have a problem.... was sitting in waterfall/heathcote national park sitting on the cheap portable chair i take with me (there effin great)..my semi old computer 5 yrs old..lol i cant see screen properly due to sunlite and summer sun ..thank god i took umbrella with me and hat and tilted pc forward at times or i wouldnt of been able to see the screen not much shade due to bushfires ages ago but its growing back…toshiba has made a new truebrite led screen which is meant to be good for sunlite..but it isnt on many models of pc…i wish other computer designers would come out with a screen for us sunlovers…. so my question is there any good computers that work well in sunlite..either led screen or antigloss technology now or in the future

  • Answer:

Macs have an LED backlight that you can adjust the brightness on. It can get so bright it hurts your eyes if you have it up too high, I keep mine about half way up in the sun and about 25% indoors. I guess it depends on your eyes. They are also antiglare. The new model Macbook Pros just came out today with the new Thunderbolt port that is up to 20x faster than USB, only laptop that has one right now, PCs havent invented the technology yet.
