How to start a local Server on Windows Platform?

When I start my minecraft server it crashes. It always seems to happen after we do a server rollback. Help!?

Are you using a regular server or a bukkit? You may want to try deleting your old Minecraft_Server.exe and download a new one, then drag and drop it into your folder
