How do I convert a .PST file to a .CSV file?
-
I cannot load MS Office on my Windows 7 based computer. As a result, I had to quit using Outlook and start using Gmail. I want to import all my contacts, from the Outlook.pst file, into Gmail contacts. Gmail will only import a CSV file. Is there a way to convert the Outlook.pst file to CSV?

Answer:
As far as I know, the only way to do that is to load the PST back in to a working outlook. Once in there, you can use t he Import/Export function to export the contacts to a CSV. I don't know of a way of converting PST directly to a CSV since a PST is Microsoft's little proprietary toy. You could always go to microsoft and download a trial of office with outlook, restore your file into there and use that to export it?
