What's wrong with my desktop?

Hello, I have tried playing any game that ran the source engine on steam and for example, when I play CS:S and I join/start a game it crashes and says, The instruction at "0x12d6e004" referenced memory at "0x0e4b8998". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. What should I do to fix it, I have tried uninstalling the games and that didnt work. Thanks

You might not have enough RAM, your drivers could be out of date, or this could be a java script problem. Update either one or all and you should be good to go.
