Audio in on sound card how can i listen?

Ok i bought a xbox 360 to vga cord to today and it has the vga and the red and white audio rca's i am planning on using my computer monitor to play xbox i also bought a rca to stereo adapter so i could plug it into my computer input the pink one one the back i was told now how do i get that to play the sound on my computer speakers i have no clue

You will need to split the pink one. One for speakers and one for XBOX This link shows what one looks like, but you could probably get one much cheaper ($2 or $3) at a dollar store or electronics store. hope this helps. http://www.shoptronics.com/duhejaspst3y.html
