Should I keep the box from my electronic stuff?

Quicktime error message box pops up while online for no reason?

  • i cant remember exactly what it says, but i will copy it next time it does it, sorry bout that, but i recently downloaded itunes, late week i guess, the other day i deleted it off my pc again like i have done before, it just takes too much space on my pc right now, with all the extra crap i already have ya know, well anyway, i never really even use the quicktime but i need it to upload pics and videos from y camera sometimes. Well, ever since i have gotten rid of itunes a couple days ago, while im online, and actually , dont know if this is rellevent but every time it has happened was when i was on facebook when alot of stuff was there , basically when it was running slow, well this long square box, the error message boxes you see sometimes with different programs, well it pops up and says something about quicktime not being able to load or like i said something of the sort, will know exactly when and if it happens again. you see, when i click ok or x it out my internet shuts down and it goes back to the desktop, right after the internet shuts down, a big box pops up saying restart firefox or restart session, at the bottom of the box, but it doesnt look like a message error box, it looks like a internet option type a box, hard to explainm, sorry, haha. But anyway, that happens everytime that stupid box pops up about quicktime. I am not even using quicktime or having anything to do with quicktime nor itunes at the time it pops up, its almost like one of them viruses, you know, when you get them boxes that say, "shut down your internet, you potenisally have a mollicious virus on your pc" or something like that. i know i am giving too much detail as of right now, but i really want to get an idea of what it could possibly be, my internet and pc period is running REALLY slow, slower than usual now. I dont wanna have to reboot my whole system again because i dont wanna have to go through all the back-up crap, alll them pictures and videos and stuff, just wish there was an easier way to back-up stuff you want to keep without keeping everything, stuff you dont want too. Well anyway, thank you for any feed back , and responses and answers are appreciated. Thanks much. RJ
