How to mute videos in Windows Movie Maker?

HOW TO DO VOICEOVERS OVER VIDEOS ON WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER!!!!?

Help! i have a project due soon i recoreded a video and i want to put it in windows movie maker. I want to mute the video, and replace it with a voice recording that i will make.... how do i do voiceovers over videos on windoes movie maker?? I also want to do voiceovers on pictures as well thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What version of Movie Maker are you using? In the XP or Vista versions: Tools>Narrate Timeline. Watch the last video in the Sound section to learn how to control the volume of sections of the audio track. (Don't worry about the videos being for version 2.
