  • Okay i got banned from this gaming website. So evertime i try to go to the website, it says i am banned till 2012 . That means i cant even view the website or play on the client. Now i want to change my ip address so the ban does not recognize its me. I looked online on how to change my ip address, i followed all the steps, and i go to the webiste and it still says im banned. Tell me what i can do. for example, restore my computer to factory or something, better way to change ip address, anything please. Because i want to play. thank you!

    Your IP address is provided by your ISP from their dhcp pool of addresses. You can not change it as it cuts your connection. But in any case the site also keeps details of other router and computer identifiers to prevent you getting in if the address did change in the normal course of use.

You have to use a proxy server. You can't change your IP address. It is assigned to you by your ISP. However, if you change your Internet Service Provider you will get a different IP address.
