How do I completely change the user name?
-
I have windows vista, and I changed the user name, and on the desktop it displays the name I picked, but when I go into the directory (C:/Users) It has the user folder under the old name (for example, it still has it on "Claire", while I actually changed the user name to "Orange") Like for example, the desktop user name is changed to Orange, but when I double click and choose to see the properties of the Pictures folder, I get (C:\Users\Claire) Thanks!

Answer:
I doubt you can do, unless by actually making a NEW account, and transfering your file over. Also, I think there is an option to transfer all your settings to a new account, so you won't have to redo all your customization. But yea, mainly copying all the files in /claire/ to /orange/ (after you make the new account) and that should be it.
