How to save captured digital video as individual clips?

How to save a video to my computer from a website where theres no link to save it to my computer? HELP PLEASE!?

  • Okay MTV had a show called the Duel 2 that just finished this week. They have a place called challengedailies.com where you can watch 1-2 minutes clips of scenes they never aired on tv. Theyre kind of like bonus footage. I would like to upload some of them onto my YouTube, but Im not sure how to save it to my computer from MTV, then uplad it to YouTube. I know it can be done because there is a user who uploaded some of the videos straiht from the website. I asked them for their help but got no reply. Heres their YouTube channel, take a look: http://www.youtube.com/user/ThisNameIsCo... Really I need to know how to go about getting the video saved on my computer from MTVs website so I cn then upload it to YouTube. Also, Im using Windows so I dont have Firefox and I was told if I had firfox and internet explorer it could crash my internet. so, i dont really want to download firefox. How can I save them to my computer to upload them? There are no links anywhere to save to the computer. If youd like, go to challengedailies.com and click on any random video and see for yourself that there are no links or any indications to save the video. Thanks and just let me know how to do this please.

  • Answer:

what everyone else said. the only way it could crash your computer is if when something doesn't load , you just sit there and pound away at your mouse, causing it to lag up even more, and it says "not responding". even then, if you wait without doing anything it should go back to normal.

Firefox wont crash your computer, I guarantee it. There is a plug in called DownloadHelper that can grab any media on a website thats only for Firefox. That is your best bet. Please believe me when i say Firefox is just another program, and it cannot hurt your computer at all. Install Firefox and go to this website and read about it. The second link has some information about your dilemma. 21% of the global market uses Firefox, that's about 266 Million people.

Why not try Tubehunter Ultra, it helps you dowanload videos and music from 1097 youtube-like webs. http://www.neoretix.com

which idiot told you that? firefox won't make any difference to your internet explorer. I have both and my computer works fine. You can not download them using internet explorer, you will need firefox and an add-on that will let you download embedded content.

You can try liteCam, I've been using it for few months to record YouTube videos and pretty happy with it. I've tried several programs, and it works the best for recording short (5-20 minutes) streaming videos. They have 30 days trial as well. http://www.innoheim.com http://www.replaystream.com (This is a tutorial site)
