How do I burn a movie onto a blank disc?

  • There's this movie my family wants multiple copies of, and they want me to put it on a blank discs. The problem is, I don't know how. I'm horrible with computers, I can't do it. My mom INSISTS I don't need a program or anything to burn it onto the blank discs, but my friend says I do, and I am using a PC. Help me?

Use CD burning software like Nero Burning ROM.

Im pretty sure you do need a program to do it unless your computer comes with one. just search it on google for a bit and find the best. I bet there's hundreds of free ones

If it's in vob format, just make a video_ts folder, put the files in there and burn the folder to the disk. (Drag it to the disk and when Windows tells you that you have files to burn, let it.) If they're not in vob format you need a program. DVDFlick will do a good job. http://www.dvdflick.net/ (Don't ever burn a DVD faster than 4X, no matter what the label says, if you want it to work.)

If you're using Vista/7, put the blank disc in the drive, go to the video you want to burn, right click and select "Burn to Disc". XP should be basically the same thing.
