Why is hexadecimal useful in computing?

What has been the most useful source of information for you in your computing search?

  • What has been the most useful source of information for you in your computing search

  • Answer:

Depends entirely what your looking for and what your interests are. I have built mine up over a few years now. I have about 40 Folders [which are all backed off onto disc] in my Favourites list and each one contains on average about 25 URL links, so if I'm looking for something in particular I have a rough idea where to look and can usually pull anything up I want in a couple of minutes. As well as that I use about 10 different search engines. Funnily enough I never use Google for the reason that because everyone uses it, you put something in and you come up with somewhere in the region of 2,000,000 pages. I don't have the time to trawl most of that, so that's why I built up my own list!

Google has been the best source of information for me. It allows the searcher to filter through the information on their own. I find that to be more helpful than a search engine filtering through it for me.
