How to set up a driver for my PC?

Where can I get a Driver to play Audio through my PC Speaker ?!?

  • About 10 years ago, someone had a PC with the Audio set to play through the PC Speaker, using a Particular Device Driver (.dll). I just built a Computer for my Dad, and he doesn't want External Speakers. Instead, he want there to be some sort of 'Internal' Speaker. Now, there IS a PC Speaker in the Case, and it Is connected to the Motherboard. It beeps like it should at Post. I know that there are still people using there PC Speaker as the Audio Output. Where can I find this Driver, and What is it Called?!? Please give me the Links if you know them. Thanks in Advance!

  • Answer:

i never heard of that but most of todays "speakers" are pezio-electric and cant play auido...if your mother board has built in jacks for audio and you have a monitor that has speakers built in its simple to add one small wire to connect your audio output to the monitor speakers. in any event the sound you would get from your "internal" speaker would be next to garbage..while monitor speakers would be only slightly better! Even a set of tiny laptop "clip-on" speakers would be better. If you play auido at all just buy dad a good set of speakers and say its a belated Christmas present!
