How do I send large files?

How can I send large files over the internet?

  • I have a file that is 836mb which is too large for yahoo email. What do you recommend I use to send it? Thanks.

Use a service called Dropbox and put it in the public folder. Then send a direct download link. There are tutorials right on the Dropbox website about how to do this. You get 2GB free and can pay for more. You can also gain up to 8GB by inviting people. Don't listen to the loon above me. The person downloading it will not need dropbox if it is a direct download link.

Use multiupload. Then send it to the person and they'll be able to download it. http://www.multiupload.com I think multiupload is better than mediafire or megaupload because it gives you the option to download from several different websites, so if one doesn't work then you don't have to spend more time uploading it again.
