Why aren't any programs opening on my computer?

Why is my computer randomly opening programs?

• Every once in a while I will be just listening to music or surfing the web when suddenly I lose control of the mouse and the pointer finger shoots all over the screen opening up and closing menus and programs automatically when it runs over them. It lasts about 15 seconds before I gain control again and they don't come back for a while. What happens during it changes but mostly it opens up things on the start menu and closes some of the windows I had open before. Then, I got 2 in about 15 minutes just before writing this. Do I have some sort of virus? Please help me! Thanks PS I have Windows XP on a HP mx705 computer if that helps.

  no.your computer is fine.but someone is controlling your computer.try to find out how to disable "remote desktop" in your computer.disconnect your computer in the internet and try this.. right click "my computer" in desktop, click "remote' tab and make sure that both of the check box is "unchecked" for remote desktop and remote assistance.
