Why can't I find the Disk Fragmentation?

Windows Xp cant find hard disk drive and non system disk?

• I have a hp compaq nc6220 and when i insert the windows xp install disc i click recovery console and install xp and they both get the error where the setup cant find the hard disk drive. if i dont start the computer up without the setup disc, it gives me a non system disk error. so im left with no recovery console help, no installation, no os. there is a website that tells me how to fix this problem but i dont know what drivers to put on the cd and so this is the link for my laptop, can you please tell me what drivers i have to put on the custom cd to make my computer working again? in the bios menu there is a naive setting or something like that where i could enable and disable it.   ok when you turn your computer press f8 or f12 for setup menu on pc. aftet that when you get the menu select the following. 1. press f8 or f12 when booting pc 2. select load default setup bios. it is f10 or f6 on most computers. there should be on the bottom of the screen. on the left bottom side . 3 after you find that on the bottom of the screen select exit and save settings 4. reboot pc. this should fix this issue. what it does it restores the pc back to its original factory settings.
