How do i make my capture card record for more than 7 mins w/ out it saying ur hardisk doesn't have enough spac?

every time i try to take a video and it hits 7 mintues it says your hard disk doesn't have enough sapce even though it has about oevr 244 GB still avalible? please help.

Answer:
Your hard drive should be formatted to have NTFS file system. Unfortunately you did not stated what kind of capture card you have and also your system parameters (OS version etc.) so there is nothing to suggest also.
