Should i update to Service package 3 ? Or should i keep 2 ?

sp 2 is better sp 3 has bug fixes for business use only.... some games lack on sp3 like condition zero

If you find the SP2 is not causing any problem to you, stick to it. I have update my system to SP3 before and find no great improvement.

it's good practice to keep your computer updated. i would recommend that you update to sp3. i think sp3 is better over all cause it contains every update for xp, so you are getting the total package with sp3.

depends on my old system it tried to upgrade from sp1 to sp2 and it couldnt handle it (mind you it was olllld p3) i have upgraded and boot time seems faster and the glitch with the taskbar is no more!! and you probably will have to eventually because of antivirus compatibility... eg i cant find any antivirus ecept avg that will work on my sp1 machine

not everything that is new is better than the old one for example take Xp and Vista, Vista is new but Xp is better, its stable and has a wide compatibility range than Vista, so i if SP2 is keeping ur machine in good shape than i recommend you do some more research, find out waht a lot of people has to say about SP3 then you can think of getting SP3, also if you resolve to upgrade you better backup all your stuff, sometimes these service packs dnt go well nd u have to roll back
