How do you delete your history?

How do I delete history from Firefox?

  • Maybe when I asked this previously I didn't ask correctly. Whenever I type into certain fields, for example, the field where I just typed "How do I delete history from Firefox," a drop box appears and shows me everything I have ever typed into that field before. How do I stop this from happening and delete my previous history? I have already tried: History>Show All History> and deleting everything. I have also tried: Tools > Options > Privacy> Never Remember History And Holding CTRL+Shift and hit delete. Then choosing options. Thanks for the help!
