How do i send a message from my mobile phone to someones computer?

How can I text message to someones phone via outlook or just using my computer instead of my phone?

  • Insead of using my blackberry to text message I would like the option to send an text message from my computer.

    I know you can send texts via sprint.com if you are a Sprint customer free of charge. Check you provider's website. I'm sure the offer it too.

I have Sprint and I can go to Sprint.com and log into my account and use the texting on there. I think it depends on your service provider.

I know you can send text messages from Yahoo email to a cell phone. I do it all the time with my daughter.

You can go to searchbug.com and text to many carriers, or you can go to the carrier site and text, or yahoo messenger - probably any messenger....
