Why doesn't my Google homepage work?

I downloaded an mp4 movie from google video... it doesnt work... help?

  • so i downloaded it, and its on my desktop. but when i try to open it, it says: "Error -2048: Couldn'y open the file because it is not a file Quicktime understands." i really want it to work... i've tried deleting it and redownloading it, but it still doesnt work... help!!

    Try using the VLC player. It handles all types of files better than Windows Media Player/Quicktime/etc.

Goto: http://www.free-codecs.com/ Remember this is a free site, everything you want it to your left side of the screen. Sounds like you're missing video codecs for your system. Also the use of a better player for MP4 is included in this: K-Lite Codec Pack Always get the FULL PACKAGE One of the better Media Players that is for free is called VLC That's on the list also to your left at the bottom of that site. Once you get everything installed, now your ready to open that MP4 and watch the video.
