Computer keeps freezing?

Computer keeps freezing, and makes a weird beeping sound?

  • My computer for about a month has been suffering from frequent freezes about 30-120 mins after the computer has been left on, when it freezes it, a loud screeching sound comes out of the speakers, and the screen freezes. When I try to reboot it the actual computer (not the speakers) makes a weird beeping sound when trying to boot up, the only way to get it to start working again is to turn off at the power outlet for 30 seconds and back on, but the problem keeps recuring. The problem started happening after I took my computer to a IT guy to fix (it had some virus) I get it back and the virus is gone but this problem started happening, I take back to the IT guy to try and fix and he said it was something to do with a powerblock in the back of my computer or something and he replaced it with a new one. But the problem still kept recuring so I didn't bother sending it back to him again. I have ignored the problem for a while, but it is now really starting to bug me, is anyone aware what might be the problem, and if possible how can I fix it?
