Can you copy files to an Ubuntu Live USB and use them in Ubuntu?
-
I've installed Ubuntu on my USB, and I have plenty of space left. I've been saving files on it with no problems. I was wondering if there was a location I could save files to that I could access while running Ubuntu, sort of a forced persistence. I would rather be able to do that than set aside space for persistence when I install, because that space could go unused for quite some time. Thanks for any info!

Answer:
I use three partitions on my 16G usb thumbdrive. 4 gig for the bootable distro, the last partition is 2G for swap (just in case), and my main info partition as my persistant files. Just my basic method.
