Installing iTunes for windows 7?

Installing iTunes on Windows 7--How Accessible or Inaccessible is it? Please Help?

• Hello. For the holidays my relatives got us a new Compaq PC with Windows 7 Home Premium Edition pre-installed on it. Right now we have a Windows XP on a separate PC, but unfortunately my family wants to make the switch over to Windows 7. Since I can't install Windows XP Mode on the version of Windows 7 we got and I don't want to mess with creating a dual boot on the new computer to have both XP and Windows 7 on it due to my inept computer knowledge, I'm a bit confused as to what to do what to do with a particular program, iTunes, once we have to reinstall everything, or at least most of what can be compatible with Windows 7, onto the new hard drive. iTunes installed perfectly onto Windows XP. But, I've heard that a lot of people have issues with installing iTunes on Windows 7. How true or often does this occur? I just received a $15 iTunes gift card for Christmas, but I'm afraid of entering the card's code into my iTunes account if iTunes won't install on Windows 7 properly. I've heard oftentimes that iTunes will in fact install, but then when people try and get the program itself to open once iTunes is officially installed, that it won't open or will receive errors. If there's a special or particular version of iTunes that only works or is compatible with Windows 7 that doesn't seem to run into any installation/accessibility issues, is there a link out there somewhere on Apple's website? Thanks for any help. It'd be really appreciated if my question could be answered. Just trying to take any extra precautions, before I regret it later.

  just download itunes and install it on windows 7, it is supported and works fine, ive installed it on 3 computers without any problems, all windows7
