How do I change the format of a video?

I got AVS video editor 4.2 (non-activated) and i need to know how to change the format of my video..?

  • I know there is the trick of putting a black screen everytime the watermark shows up and then cut it out in windows movie maker, but i dont have enough time to do that. Is there a way i can change the format of my saved AVS video and change it straight to avi or whatever so i can get it onto a blank dvd??

  • Answer:

AVS is the name of the software company. It's not a file format. Find the video file you edited/saved using the AVS software, right click on it, scroll down and click on "Properties" and see what file type it is. You can burn just about any file to a DVD. Click on the file to highlight it and then check around the window of the folder it's in for "Burn to Disk" or other words that mean the same thing.
