Free video editing software for windows?

BEST (free?) video editing software for PC? Is there anything like imovie for Windows Vista PC?

• I did a little bit of looking up the best 2012 video editing software, seems the mac has a great one from the videos I've seen in youtube edited with imovie, also the list of the best showed Cyberlink's Powerdirector as #1. Any input? What is the most equivelant to imovie to use on a PC since I don't have a mac..... also, does this top 10 list look accurate?   yeah for sure there are...I suggest you use Ezvid - a free video & slideshow maker for Youtube and yes, it works well with Windows Vista and it is also a video editing software which can do basic editing stuff like adding text, or music or narrration so it can perform just like paid versions.. If you are looking for free, it should be freeware as for sure you will not encounter trial versions but yours for FREE, some doesn't even require registration before downloading.
