How can i get my itunes to run again?

okay, so i guess my brother did some sort of system restore and restored our computer to a day before. i went to go use my itunes so i can listen to some music while i browse the web but when i launched itunes, i got a message saying "itunes can not run because some of its required files are missing. please reinstall itunes." so i did as told and loaded itunes setup. but it told me that itunes was already updated. can someone please help me out?? i need my music aha D: do you think maybe if i uninstall itunes and then reinstall it again, it will function properly?? if i do proceed with that, will i loose my music?? please help!! aha thank you veryy much <3

Try uninstalling iTunes and then installing it again. You will not lose your music.
