How to curve text in Microsoft Word?

Can I recover lost text? Microsoft Word 2010?

  • On Microsoft Word 2010, can I recover lost text from a document? I emailed myself an essay home from school. I opened it and got to work on it, and I wrote three pages of decent work. Then I forgot to save and clicked Exit. I realised I had to send the essay to my teacher to be marked, and suddenly I couldn't find it on my computer anywhere, because I'd never actually saved it on my laptop at home before. Is there anything I can do, or is my work gone forever? I've tried opening a blank word document, clicking open, and going to "Recover Text From Any File." That doesn't work.

  • Answer:

Sadly it couldnt be recovered if words didnt save it. Thats why starts to save.

Unfortunately, my friend, the reason you can't find the file on your hard drive is because it's NOT there. It's nowhere .... lost to the cosmos ... lingering in limbo. It's too late now, I know, but what you should have done is downloaded the file that you emailed to yourself onto your hard drive, and worked on it from there. You would also be well advised to turn on Automatic Saving of any work that you do so that your Microsoft Word saves every 5 minutes or so. I'm sorry, but you're going to have to retype all that you did again.

There are various programs you can download to recover mostly anything of a google i recommend you take a look at that.
